Huge dinner held on Prague bridge to celebrate easing of coronavirus restrictions in Czech Republic

People in Prague gathered around a 500-metre-long dinner table on Tuesday. They came together to celebrate the end of most Covid-19 restrictions in the Czech Republic. The table ran the length of the historic Charles Bridge in the centre of Prague. The Czech Republic was among the first to implement tough restrictions designed to curb the spread of coronavirus in mid-March. As of June 30, the country of 10.7 million reported 11,895 cases and 349 deaths connected to the illness, many fewer than many of its Western peers.
