Honda is definitely not the only serious contender in the electric motocross and off-road market. While Honda created motocross history by entering their CR electric protype in round 8 of the all Japan motocross series, Honda may already be too late in the technology race if the four incredible dirt bikes featured in this video are anything to go by. It does appear that the days of the big motor corporations domination may be fast coming to an end. Honda racing company has a long history of innovation in motorcycle racing, with varying degrees of success, and these contenders look to have hit the fast forward button development. Could these bikes mark the beginning of the end for gasolene powered motocross machines? It would appear Honda thinks so. And so do the others featured here.
