DIY Metal Spinning Cigar Box Guitar Resonators

This DIY video shows how I do metal spinning on a lathe to make resonator cones that I use to build cigar box guitars with. I use a woodworking lathe with a faceplate mounted wooden form to spin the metal to the shape of the form. In this video I demonstrate the process and the tools I use to turn paint can lids into cigar box resonators. This method can also be used with copper or aluminum, but paint can lids are inexpensive and easy to learn with. This video is for demonstration only.
