Lightyears Album: “Cygnus-A“ and “Galaxie Cygnus-A“ On the occasion of the world-famous ARS Electronica (Linz/Austria) the album “Galaxie Cygnus-A“ was already produced in 1982 as the fourth album by Robert Schroeder and released on the IC label of Klaus Schulze. “Galaxie Cygnus-A“ was also the title of a multi-media show, an optical-acoustic event with a view into space, which Robert Schroeder premiered together with a German SF author at the ARS-Electronica in Linz in 1982 (with TV broadcast in Austria and FRG). With the largest moving radio telescope in Effelsberg/ Eifel /FRG space sounds of the billion light years distant radio galaxies from the constellation Swan were received.
