Israel: Protesters hold demo near PM’s office in Jerusalem

Protesters demonstrated near the prime minister’s office in Jerusalem, Wednesday, demanding return of Israeli soldiers’ bodies as well as civilians thought to have been abducted by Hamas. “We are calling for a ceasefire. In this round of escalation we must not let our leaders to go back from the negotiation table in Cairo without sons,“ said Tzur Goldin, brother of Israeli soldier Hadar Goldin whose body is though to have been held by Hamas after 2014 abduction, along with the body of Oron Shaul. Avera Mengistu, an Israeli man whose father was also present at the demonstration has also been missing after an alleged interrogation by Hamas in the same year.
