Musica, Amor y Paz In this session, we invite Majoo aka Discodelica, one of the most dedicated collectors to do a set for us. Born in El Salvador, she currently resides in San Francisco, California where is co-founder of the record store and label Discodelic. Under this label she has reissued a variety of Central American groups from the 60s and 70s such as Poder del Alma, Bwana, and many others. She promotes vinyl parties in the USA mainly in the Bay Area such as “Latinos con Soul” and “Tropicalizacion” For more than 13 years she has been dedicated to collecting and preserving vinyl culture. Also she’s very active within the vinyl community. Discodelica has a wide collection of records in which her genres mainly vary between Latin, Afro tropical, Caribbean and psychedelic all of these records acquired one by one on her diverse and extensive Diggin’ Trips through Africa, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. She has been invited to share her records as a DJ in several countries such as much of the USA, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Bolivia, Mexico, Costa Rica, Guatemala and more.
