Douglas Murray: BBC guilty of ’extraordinary deception’

Author Douglas Murray has said the BBC are guilty of an “extraordinary level of deception“ over Martin Bashir’s interview with Princess Diana. Speaking to talkRADIO’s Julia Hartley Brewer, he said: “think the significance is the cover up. This is an extraordinary level of deception. If it was anyone else other than the BBC in the media, the BBC would call for judicial inquiries.“ It comes as the Duke of Cambridge issued a scathing statement criticising the BBC for its failings around the interview, which he says exacerbated his mother’s “fear, paranoia and isolation”.
