Making electric Roller Bender Part part 3/3

If you didn’t see how I built this machine, you can do it here: After doing this test I deduced a couple of conclusions which can be helpful for you. 9RPM It’s definitely too slow. I suppose 15 or 20RPM would be a better solution. If I find time someday, I’ll change pulley’s. It causes that bender will bend a material faster than now. Wheels which hold material have to be tempered. I thought this process pass me by but I was wrong. I’m going to give all axes to temper. It won’t damage them moreover It’ll give them a positive effect. Advantages of this project: A cylinder and a hydraulic pump: I’m content with this system and I suppose It’s much better solution than a screw and nut. Replacement of bearings in the middle part was accurate. A roller is much stiff than before. A switch R-0-L holding in the hand turned out to be better option than mounted directly to the bender. As you have seen, the largest material I bend is 30x30x2m
