Bjorth & Kveld - Drengr ( Viking music and medieval music )

“Drengr“ is a term from Old Norse, used in Viking culture to describe a specific kind of warrior or hero. In Old Norse literature, a drengr is portrayed as a brave, skilled, and honorable warrior who upholds certain codes of conduct, such as courage in battle, loyalty to their lord or leader, and adherence to principles of honor and integrity. The concept of drengrhood embodies the idealized qualities of a Norse warrior, often glorified in sagas and poems from the Viking Age. The term is sometimes translated to English as “champion“ or “badass.“ Lyrics: Hva er livet verdt uten ære? Vet du hva du lever for? Vet du hvem du lever for? Finn mening i livet ditt og kjemp for det --- What is life worth without honour, Do you know what are you living for, Do you know who are you living for, Find meaning and fight for it.
