The language of the universe, the languages of humans: Dmitry Petrov at TEDxPerm

Дмитрий Петров Лингвист, профессиональный переводчик-синхронист, преподаватель. Владеет тридцатью языками, на восьми из них работает как синхронный переводчик. Этот факт отмечен в книге рекордов Гиннеса в 1998 году. Окончил переводческий факультет Московского государственного института иностранных языков. Старший преподаватель переводческого факультета МГЛУ (Московский государственный лингвистический университет) и координатор группы переводчиков-синхронистов. Занимался всеми видами перевода, в том числе на уровне глав государств. Автор ряда методик ускоренного преподавания иностранных языков, в том числе параллельного обучения нескольким языкам. Организовал ряд экспедиций в Гималаи и другие регионы Индии. В феврале 2008 года был координатором Российской книжной ярмарки в Дели, проходившей в рамках Года России в Индии. ---------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------- -------------------------- Dmitry Petrov is a linguist, who knows 30 different languages and does professional simultaneous interpretation in 8 of them. Dmitry graduated from the Translation Faculty of the Moscow State Institute of Foreign Languages. He serves as senior lecturer at Translation Faculty of the Moscow State Linguistic University, where he coordinates the group of simultaneous interpreters. He had experience with all types of translation and interpretation and worked at the heads of state level. Dmitry Petrov is an author of some rapid language learning methods, including parallel learning of several languages. He organized a number of expeditions to Himalayas and other parts of India.
