Many of these games release dates are recorded only by the year of release, so it would be nice to get them in the right monthly order. The new Vol 2 will follow shortly, and so on........ Purists may point out that some of these games are not proper FPS, the reason for this is because this is a History of FPS, which means I had to include games that can be considered to be influential. Such as most of the early RPG’s. Also some of the flight games such as Rescue on Fractulus were important for their revolutionary engine, which was used later for a few FPS titles. RPG’s mirror the development of FPS games throughout, both in rendering, and perspective. There really isnt much between a FPS with a mele weapon and an RPG with a crossbow. Thanx for watching ;-)
