Semiya upma is a popular South Indian breakfast dish which is also known as Vermicelli Upma. It is a quick, easy and light recipe, and is made with wheat vermicelli, along with a mix of vegetables and spices. This is one of the most fulfilling and delicious meals to prepare when you have just no time to prepare an elaborate breakfast. It is a very easy to make recipe and takes about half an hour. A basic semiya upma is made without any vegetables. But to make it a balanced meal, we add mixed vegetables like carrots, peas and beans.
