The Popsicles - Baby I Miss You (1965)

A great record you may not have heard! The Popsicles are actually Ellie Greenwich. Released as a non-charting single in May 1965 with “I Don’t Want To Be Your Baby Anymore“ on the other side. Both recordings were demos made by Ellie Greenwich. She is singing both lead and backing vocals (her voice is multi-tracked in the backing vocals). Instead of giving the songs to others, it was decided to release the demos as is since they turned out so well. Written by Mark Barkan and Ben Raleigh.
