The buildings, streets and monuments of Prague literally ooze history and many of them date from as far back as the ninth century. Prague was virtually undamaged during the Second World War and as a result most of the historical architecture is remarkably well preserved. The incredible Charles Bridge is one of Prague’s signature attractions. It is more than half a kilometre long and it’s amazing to think that it was built more than 650 years ago without the use of modern machinery. Walking through the stree
