Chris Spedding - Jump In My Car

This is a cover of the song by Ted Mulry Gang, “Jump In My Car“. Chris Spedding is an English guitarist who was an integral part of the band that backed Bryan Ferry. He was also a founding member of English band The Sharks along with Andy Fraser former Bassist of Free. In early 1976 Ted Mulry was part of a radio special on 3XY Melbourne with Shirley Strachan and Suzi Quatro titled “Suzi and the boys“. During this interview Suzi had told Ted that she thought the song would be a good follow up for Chris whose single “Motorbikin’ had minor success on the British Charts and so Suzi took a copy back and Chris recorded it.
