Code Words - Fluency Activity

This activity gives students a great opportunity to develop their fluency, and to practice reacting appropriately when they do not understand. “Code Words“ gives students the opportunity to practice in a fun engaging context. Both students are spies and are meeting to discuss something important. Only one of the spies is well prepared though. The other spy does not know the code words. The other spy should manage the conversation well enough so that the first spy thinks they understand.
