A after 2 mon. of PECS

A after 2 mon. of PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) training in home. A is a 21 mon. old little girl diagnosed with Autism. At Thanksgiving she was unable to communicate her wants and needs. She was introduced to PECS by my team. She was unable to look at the pictures, pull them from the book and hand them to anyone. Now she can discriminate between pictures, and make requests without tantrums! The team and family have been hard at work!
