Model Makers (1968)

Hounslow, Middlesex. Bearded man is seen making a model aircraft (old plane). It looks fantastic. Another man is seen putting finishing touches at a miniature propellor and even smaller engine (looks like car engine to me). A third man is working on rather large model of a spitfire. He is attaching the wheels. Spitfire is to be used for a film about Battle of Britain - voiceover informs. This is a model factory in Hounslow where people make models to be used as production models for airlines, exhibition items, collector items or for film and TV use. Succession of shots showing people working on different aircraft models, from common airliner to a famous “Thunderbirds“ (TV series) space vehicles selection. Fantastic.
