RUSSIA READY TO DEFEND AFRICA - FOREIGN MINISTER (see vid): at meeting with Senegalese counterpart Yassine Fall, Russian FM Lavrov says #Moscow will help #Africa in fight against terrorism and “strengthening defense capabilities“ against ISIS and other terror groups on continent. Regarding situation on African continent, primarily Sahara-Sahel region, Russia is seriously concerned about growing terrorist threat We have common interest in joining efforts to combat these threats. Russia’s ready to assist Senegal and other African countries strengthen their defense capabilities, as well in increasing anti-terrorist readiness of armed forces - Lavrov.
