Driving in the Netherlands: Rijksweg A6 from Joure to Lelystad (Noord)

This drive takes you through the ’Polder’ (reclaimed land) and passes a couple of lakes. The starting point is Knooppunt (junction) Joure, which has been redesigned and refurbished in recent years, replacing a large motorway roundabout. The roundabout was dated and had a couple of obvious caveats, causing unnecessary traffic. From the new knooppunt, the A6 emerges from the A7 marking the start of the motorway. The A6 runs all the way through the Flevoland province as it eventually feeds into the A1 at Almere.
