“House of The Book (Dom Knigi)” is the most famous bookstore in Russia. Opened in 1938 in the building of Singer House in St Petersburg, Russia. The Singer House originally was the building constructed for the Russian Headquarters of the Singer Sewing Machine Company. Built in 1904 by the design of Russian architect Pavel Syuzor.
