2017 Nissan GT-R Engine Assembly

A hand-built twin-turbo V6 lies at the heart of every Nissan GT-R. Each engine in the 2017 GT-R is assembled by one of five master craftsman – we call them Takumi – at Nissan’s plant in Yokohama, Japan. The new 2017 Nissan GT-R now offers 565 horsepower, an increase of 20 HP versus the 2016 model, with a flatter torque curve for enhanced on-demand acceleration.
