The R&B and funk band Al Hudson & The Partners from the United States was active between 1976 and 1988. After a number of name changes, the members decided to use the name One Way from 1980 onwards. The band consisted of singer Al Hudson, singer Alicia Myers, guitarist Dave Roberson, guitarist Cortez Harris, bassist Kevin McCord, drummer Gregory Green and keyboard Jonathan Meadows. From 1981, Candyce Edwards took over the front role from Alicia Myers. The last album they released in 1988 was called A New Beginning. This is the 12“ version of their hit ’You Can Do It’.
