The Light Blues please the critics immensely ...“ Putney, Greater London. Members of the Cambridge University boat race crew climb into their craft. Among those getting in is Rickett (the President of the club). High angle shot. the boat moves away from the bank out into the River Thames. A crowd are gathered to see the team off. This is the team’s first outing on the tideway. They begin to row away. A small motor launch follows them. L/S the crew rowing along the river.
