Many people do a massive number of sit-ups thinking they will help with this issue. But, doing sit-ups doesn’t seem to help with that lower belly flab or looseness. Sit-ups basically cause your lower stomach to actually relax and become even looser.  You can do reverse sit-ups by tightening up the butt muscles and extending them back over and over while standing. This can help tighten the lower abdomen muscles and the skin. To prevent any lower back pain when you’re first starting out with this exercise, begin doing it about 25 times, rest, and repeat. Try this every other day, and then increase the number of reps and the number of days you do this exercise each week. M
