Winter Cycling in Copenhagen - Viking Biking

63% of Copenhageners cycle daily to work or education in the city. 75% of them cycle all winter in the City of Cyclists. We call it #VikingBiking. The City has a policy that the network of cycle tracks has to be cleared of snow by 8 AM - and salted preventively ahead of potential snow - in order to allow the few hundred thousand cycling citizens to get where they need to go.
