Keith Jarrett: Melodies at Night (Solo in Tokyo, 2002)

This is a few pieces from a live recording of Keith Jarrett in Japan in 2002. He performed a reflective set of ballads and some improvisations that fit alongside them. There are many concerts where he’s playing beautifully, but this might be the most exquisite I’ve heard. He was deep in the “Melody at Night, With You“ vibe. I wish ECM would release this performance. Until then, there’s this gem.
