TighT from Detroit Michigan with Tonya Smyth performing their original “Can’t Get Over You“. Recorded at Central Michigan University very early 80’s. Video sent to me by Dave Reinhart who played a major role in making this video happen. TighT was Tonya Smyth - lead vocals, Larry Strout - lead guitar/vocals, Tere Bertke - bass/vocals, Jerry Huff - Drums. TighT changed their name to Savage Grace, also early 80’s and recorded their first CD with Michael Wagener as the producer in 1984. The band moved to LA in 1987 and was never signed. I’m not sure when they disbanded but Tonya and Larry still live in LA to this day. Tonya, by all rights, should have made the big time no matter who she was with. One of the most powerful and entertaining singers I’ve ever seen and I was proud to be her drummer ’81 thru ’87.
