Early voting error in Tennessee; Davidson County Election Commission administrator responds

The state’s recent redistricting of Davidson County led to confusion at the polls, with more than 430 voters who may have cast the wrong ballot. It’s led to the Davidson County Election Commission rushing to make last-minute changes ahead of polls opening. Here’s how voting will work Tuesday: If you voted early and you received the wrong ballot, you’ll go to the Davidson County Election Commission headquarters for a special voter provisional ballot, which will only be used if a race is contested and by court order. If you have not voted, show up at your regular polling site and folks will have a list of those affected. If you are affected, you will vote on a paper ballot.
