Cut from the same immaculate, ethereal cloth that’s come to define his smoothly oneiric style over the years, this new pair of bleached-out belters from the Berlin-based escapologist treats us to an effortlessly lush tableau of both wistful and dynamic electronica, tear-jerking and multi-dimensional in essence. Fuelled on kodachromatic beachside vibes and faux balearic-infused jazz, Rampue’s sonic postcards are true poetry in motion, as their deep and largely dubbed-out flavours reveal themselves on a drip tease flex, fleshing out with unheard levels of detail and depth as you listen to them more attentively.
