Will all banks in Canada be forced to stop doing business in June 2025?

Section 21 of the Bank Act stipulates that all banks (Canadian & foreign) will stop doing business in Canada after June 30, 2025. It is unclear how the banking industry will be able to exist after that date in Canada. This would have far-reaching & grave consequences.
