Dialogues des Carmelites - Duet Scene - Blanche and Chevalier de la Force

Sonja Volten & Elmar Gilbertsson sing the duet scene of Act II in Francis Poulenc´s Dialogues des Carmelites in a production of “Dutch National Opera Academy“ in 2007. Chevalier de la Force visits her sister in the cloister, trying to convince her to return home to their father, for he is old and weak but she refuses for the reason she has found her calling in life, that is to become a nun in the order of the Carmelites.
