New RAF Bombers - Demonstration Flight (1938)

Northolt, London. M/S of numerous Hurricane Fighter Planes of IIIF Squadron lined up on an airfield, with their pilots standing beside them. M/S of the RAF pilots standing in a group before the aeroplanes. Various shots of the planes taxiing and about to take off, others stand on the tarmac, ready for their take off signal. No actual shots of the Hurricanes rising into the air or the flypast of these planes. We then see air to air shots of three biplanes in close formation flight. Note: the commentary does not seem to fit the images after the first half of this story. Section showing the Hurricanes in the flypast is probably in story NEW RAF BOMBERS in same issue - see separate record for details. FILM ID: A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
