That actor Steven Yeun’s parents took the show a little bit too seriously after watching it? Steven Yeun, who plays the character of Glen Rhee, is one of The Walking Dead’s most loveable characters. It’s natural for parents of actors to pay a keen interest in following their children’s careers and Yeun’s parents, who are based in Korea, are no different. However, Yeun has revealed that his parents’ grasp of English isn’t great, so they had to watch a bootlegged version of the show which which was accompanied by Korean subtitles. Yeun’s father even took some elements of the show very seriously indeed, and asked his son to thank Melissa McBride, who plays Carol Peletier, for saving his son’s life. Even though Yeun reminded his father that the show is completely fictional, his father still insisted, and Yeun personally thanked McBride on behalf of his father. Yeun’s father even thought his son was acting in adult films before his son persuaded him that his acting career was concentrated in a different field.
