Autumn Forest - watercolor painting process

Finished painting I love Montval Canson paper but this time I used Canson XL Series and it was the worst experience ever. I can’t believe it is 140lb paper - it is so weak. My masking fluid ripped it and it dries for hours. I returned the XL pad to the store and brought Montval back. Music: Maurice Lennon “Tree of Sorrows“
