Tchaikovsky - October ’Autumn Song’ from The Seasons | Most Beautiful Autumn Piano

October, october, october. The month where everything changes, the leaves fall, and everything starts to fade away... This autumn song (October from ’The Seasons’) by Tchaikovsky is one of my absolute favourite piano pieces by him. I think it describes autumn so perfectly well, how the seasons slowly fade into winter and coldness, after many bright days of spring and summer. The small poem attached to this piece describes it as: Autumn, our poor garden is all falling down, the yellowed leaves are flying away with the wind. - Aleksey Tolstoy A beautiful melody, led by haunting harmonies throughout this piece, ending in a quiet echo of distant memories of summer and spring...
