Project RAFT (Russians and Americans For Teamwork) June 1988 historic ’rapid diplomacy’ expedition to the Altai Mountains, navigating the Katun, Chulyshman and Chulcha rivers in Siberia. Filmed by John Wilcox, Adventure World Productions. 45 min. In August of 1987 Project RAFT initiated the first joint Russian/American rafting expedition to the Katun river in Siberia.
