US assault ship docks in Queensland

The USS America docked in Brisbane on Tuesday and the arrival will bring thousands of marines ashore, giving them a brief break from their duties. The USS America is the largest amphibious assault ship in the US Navy’s seventh fleet and is the first of several foreign military ships which will visit Queensland over the coming weeks. The Australian’s Foreign Editor Greg Sheridan discussed the ship’s arrival with Sky News Australia.
