Bio By She Rox All Female Bands: Austin, Texas based pop rock band, The Mrs formed in 2013, by drummer Andra Liemandt and bassist Jenny Mason, both formerly of the all female band the Cover Girls. With the addition of keyboardist and vocalist Larissa Ness, guitarists and vocalists Jennifer Zavaleta and Mandy Prater the band set out on a mission to inject female empowerment with their music. A radio friendly pop rock that not only contains uplifting, yet powerful lyrics that delve into such major issues from domestic abuse to cancer awareness to name a few. By 2014 the band released their break through single “Enough” which quickly became a viral sensation for its positive message to empower women in their everyday lives. Along with a video “Mirror Mirror”, that catapulted the single and video to gain national attention, the band grew a huge fan base in a short period of time, praised by many for the message the single emanated and its popularity, it landed in the Top 10 of the Adult Contemporary charts.
