Mr. Black TunnelWorm Through-Zero Flanger by Jack Deville

Buy Now: Hi it’s Andy with and you just experienced the Tunnelworm from Mr. Black. Although flange pedals have existed since the 70’s, through-zero flanging, unlike additive and subtractive flanging, is a true reproduction of the original effect which once involved a whole studio. Instead of running two identical tape decks at the same time for this mesmerizing effect, Mr. Black’s Tunnelworm does it all in a compact, dirt simple stomp box. Through-zero flanging is possible by increasing the Tunnelworm’s Zero control to it’s higher regions, which produces a hollow sound and full signal cancellation and certain points of the cycle. This rare effect can also be shaped and chiseled down to familiar flange and chorus tones or even conjure rotary speaker sounds with the sweep’s width and rate controls. Jack Deville, the mastermind behind it all builds the Mr. Black Tunnelworm in Portland, OR and maintains your guitar’s dry signal by using a high quality signal path and true bypass switching.
