One way to interpret this mantra is “Sacred (Om) Lord (Shri) Beyond Time (Mahakala), Blazing (Hum) Energy (Hum) of Dissolution (Phat).“ There are many ways that one can interpret this particular mantra based on one’s background, source tantra, and intent. Because this is a common mantra of Vajrayana Buddhists, we have used the Tibetan pronunciation of the word Phat which is “pey“. Despite this, and in order to pay homage to Sanskrit origins, we have added a track pronouncing Phat as “futt“ as well.
