Forging a black KATANA from an old bearing

In this video we will show how to forge a katana from an old bearing. We forged an old bearing from a railway locomotive into a katana blade. After forging, we grind the workpiece with a grinder. The blade was hardened on charcoal into warm engine oil. After we saw the katana blade in the mirror, we started making the handle. Tsuba and habaki are made of spring steel.
