6th China International Import Expo ends with massive deals as firms sign up for next year’s event

The sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) wrapped up on Friday with nearly 80 billion US dollars’ worth of tentative deals signed, setting a record high. Officials from the CIIE Bureau announced the news on the final day of the sixth edition of the gathering that attracted participants from every corner of the globe. Representatives from 154 countries, regions and international organizations attended the expo, and more than 3,400 enterprises from 128 countries and regions participated in the business exhibition, showcasing 442 new products, technologies and services, Sun said. There were 289 Fortune 500 companies and industrial leaders among the participants, also setting a record high, the official said.
