Onion-routed video call demo (Lokinet)

Alex and Kee test out Lokinet’s video calling capabilities using WebRTC. The call is entirely onion-routed using Lokinet, a next-generation onion-router that boasts much lower latency than traditional onion routing solutions — hence the ability to conduct a video call. The call in the video represents the quality of the call on Kee’s computer. Voice quality is crystal clear, and video is also impressively responsive. More improvements will be made to this system to reduce latency even further. No exit nodes were used for the call. Lokinet will also be integrated into the Session messaging application to enable encrypted, onion routed voice and video calls.
