Getting the Best Picture Quality from the SEGA Dreamcast

There are a few important notes to make here. First off is the fact that the upscaler I’m using automatically converts the 640x480 resolution to 1280x720 so I have to use a video editor to then skew the resolution to 960x720. As such what you’re seeing here is not the true quality I see on my HDTV. On top of that the Elgato Game Capture HD is also adding a certain brightness to the games, which I tried to offset, again with the software. On top of that YouTube itself will compress the file so hopefully the end result isn’t too bad. I also noticed that for whatever reason the Marvel vs. Capcom 2 footage is cut on the right side by a fraction. I’ll try to fix that when it comes time for the review. Overall I’m highly impressed by the footage on my HDTV. It’ll just take me a little while to work the kinks out of fixing the video files to get them to a quality that satisfies me on YouTube. I hope you enjoyed the video just the same, and if you have any questions or comments,
