Johnny Lytle was a vibraphonist from Springfield, Ohio. He had a professional recording and performing career that spanned from 1960 until is untimely death in 1995 at the age of 63. Lytle wasn’t as well known as other vibraphonists like Lionel Hampton, Milt Jackson, Bobby Hutcherson, or Gary Burton, but he put out some great records that stand the test of time.
