The fact that you don’t see this doesn’t mean that it doesn’t exist. Some things are not visible due to their nature, others have to be deliberately hidden. Previously, it was customary to make a tattoo in those places that could be hidden by clothes. Now tattoos can be found even on the eyeballs, but there are still places in the world where tattoo artists have to hide themselves. The Vlad Blad Irons team and I traveled to one of the largest Islamic cities in the Middle East, Cairo, in order to study and document the first origins of tattoo culture. Full video coming soon.
