British car manufacturers ‘ration’ petrol vehicle sales over government-imposed mandates
Sky News host James Macpherson says British car manufacturers are “rationing” petrol vehicle sales due to fear of missing government-imposed mandates.
“British car manufacturers are rationing the sale of petrol vehicles in order to avoid massive fines for missing government-imposed mandates for quotas on electric cars,” Mr Macpherson said.
“The British government has mandated 22 per cent of all new car sales have to be electric vehicles.”
