8 июня 2009 года в Оренбурге при городской клинической больнице имени Николая Ивановича Пирогова состоялась закладка храма Святой Троицы. Чин закладки совершал митрополит Оренбургский и Бузулукский Валентин. Присутствовали мэр города Оренбурга Мищеряков Юрий Николаевич и руководители округа; главный врач больницы им.Н.И.Пирогова Николай Степанович Вахтеров. Инициатор постройки храма – директор группы компаний «Евростиль» («Стройландия») Сергей Иванович Филиппов. 10 июля 2010 года состоялось освящение и водружение крестов, куполов и колоколов на храм Святой Троицы. Чин освящения совершал митрополит Оренбургский и Бузулукский Валентин. Храм освящен великим освящением 4 июня 2012 года. Автор проекта - известный оренбургский архитектор Юрий Григорьев. Храм построен и отделан в новгородском старинном стиле.
