The Eye of Apollo by G. K. Chesterton from The Innocence of Father Brown read by Greg Wagland

One of the better known tales from G. K. Chesterton’s first collection of Father Brown stories (1911), and I don’t know about you, but rather a lot of modern parallels and uncanny vibes resonating down to the present day. Not really sure about my portrayal of Kalon, the High Priest of Apollo but at one point I thought I was channeling an ex-US president. I leave you to decide which. Two more tales to go from this collection and then onward and upward in bold new directions. Well maybe not all that bold! Stay tuned/or not. As usual, many thanks for your support. And if you ain’t subscribed please feel free to do so. Cheers, Greg
